Who is Istenad Haddad?

Istenad Haddad is a well-known figure in the film industry, recognized both as a director and a writer. With extensive experience in various fields, including theater, cinema, television, and ballet, Haddad has established himself as a multifaceted talent. He has produced poetry and visual criticism and worked in the television industry, serving as a member of the Arab press in Iraq, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, and Australia. His poetry has been translated into multiple languages and published in countries such as Italy, Denmark, France, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and India. Haddad holds diplomas in arts and film direction and has written approximately 20 drama series in Arabic for various Arabic TV channels from 1990 to 2010. Additionally, he created an animated series for children called “Tariq wa Shereen,” produced by Rubicon from 2002 to 2006, which is available on YouTube. In 2018, he wrote a short film project titled “Glasses Eyes” for ScreenWest. After migrating to Australia in August 2005, Istenad studied film and TV production in Perth while completing several short film projects. He is a member of various organizations, including WA Poets Inc., Writers Guild of Western Australia (Writing WA), Perth Poet Club, Community TV/CTV, West TV Perth, Network Film Perth, and Wings Organisation for Cross-Cultural Development.
